May the algorithm allow my publication to multiply.

The future of work using social media is a fact and for those of us who are latecomers to social media it can become a headache.

The idea of documenting and sharing every step of your life is for me as an introvert a real struggle but I have found ideas and inspiration from people who really have something to say and don’t repeat fashion trends.

On the other hand there are the algorithms but I’ve never fully understood that.

Is quantity more important than quality today?

Publishing daily if possible is the key, some say, it doesn’t have to be anything special but the important thing is to feed the “dragon” so that it allows you to move to the next level and so the algorithm blesses you with its goodness.

But what happened to quality or purposeful content? Maybe in early 2013 when they were starting out those who now enjoy the luck they had with algorithms can say that quality was not the end but rather they were doing it to legitimately connect with other people, they were still thinking human to human.

Now the environment has changed drastically and the web has been saturated with billions of posts daily and a newbie might feel very intimidated and insecure but an entrepreneur might think that now there are millions more people you can potentially connect with.

For now in my case besides not having the time to create quality content in a fluid way, I have decided to show my creation processes or simply share my experience as I do now in this blog in the hope that maybe one person can find this content useful.

Quality and its importance in personal branding.

Having quality standards is a must for product manufacturers or service providers and if I consider myself as a service provider I need to make my brand visible and tangible, but when the brand tends to be more of a human and personal aspect reaching perfection can become frustrating and demotivating.

You can say in my case that making images is my essence, I have to know how to do it very well or reach a certain level but ultimately it is about personality and in art it is the essence of every good artist. The big question is: How to distribute my content successfully?

The Mass makes the difference, to reach it social media is the most obvious answer to this need but there is no guarantee of anything or unless you have the resources to hire an agency specialized in it so you need some investment or certain millions of followers ready to consume your product.

Everything will work if you stay true to your art.

My conclusion is like climbing Everest, you need training, discipline and tenacity as well as being realistic and setting small achievable goals in order to move forward with confidence and not lose motivation and the ultimate goal, which in my case is to connect with people who find my content valuable.

I will be publishing my process and development and maybe it can be useful for someone like me, that is not so young or for anyone starting out.

Does being shy affect my online sales?

The question of whether being shy affected my online sales I have asked myself after a year of hard work as my earnings on the Creative Fabrica platform amount to the wonderful amount of 0.02 cents in almost two months. Is this normal? Have I lacked more work in communication? Do I need to be more present on social media? Do I have to reach that influencer intensity when creating content?

I am over thirty years old and since platforms like Facebook and Co. became essential I have not had an active social presence online for all these years.

I decided to step back and just communicate in the most basic way without using any social media with family or friends, I wanted to keep it “normal”, when we had the freedom to be there or not for someone.

All this would not have any relevance since, ultimately, who is making use of social media is not obliged to do so, with one exception … if you have your own business and even worse, if you have your own business where the brand is you.

Branding for the shy.

Your work speaks for you but if you want to connect with your clients we need clients to know us and distinguish us and it can be done through consistent communication. Posting my art and offer graphics that can be useful and share my processes helped me a lot.

Starting with either a text in your blog or some phrase or quote of yours that indicates what you value, what you feel or what you like can push yourself in new directions and maybe if you already feel comfortable you can show your beautiful face sometimes 😉

Making an annual plan focused on a single goal helps to keep it fluid. In my case this year my goal was to sell products on Etsy and Creative Fabrica and finally in September 2021 I managed to do it and I think that deserves a celebration, of course next year’s goal will be to consolidate my brand.

Working on my new cozy mini Halloween Prints set.

The last few days I have been busy creating a new set of mini Halloween art prints, I thought…Autumn is here, the temperature is starting to drop and under these sunny days the inspiration blooms to prepare a fun Halloween party.

It probably doesn’t seem relevant to many but I think it’s something fun and why not to celebrate or at least decorate a little bit and make our house more cozy.

Hi I’m Diana! Let me reintroduce myself again…

Hello everybody! I have decided to reintroduce myself for those who may know me and for new visitors. It’s been a long time since I’ve interacted with the internet whether it’s social media on behance or instagram. Why Diana isn’t on the internet?! …No one has asked… but I would like to explain that this is a big step for me, maybe I was afraid I would look like a zombie if I became addicted to social media…I think the time has come to be more social and enjoy it. Have you hesitated to continue posting on social networks? I would like to hear your comments.

I’m a Storyteller an illustrator and color fan.

What defines myself the most is that I am a fan of colour and you can see it in all my work, especially in the Zahnhase project, I love to have fun with the characters I create and I give them a certain touch of humour.

I also love illustrating for children, especially when there are topics to explain and they need didactic materials such as colouring sheets, comics, animations and e-books. For now my work has focused on health issues such as dental hygiene in children and I have generated some experience that allows me to use it in my personal projects.

My goal is to provide you with cute Clipart perhaps with a social touch.

I have decided to generate content about what worries me like my Amazon Rainforest Drawing set or what interests me but more than anything I would like to be able to contribute with something even if it is very little but positive in the lives of others.

I’m a more or less young entrepreneur, let’s say over 35.

I have been thinking for many years what can I contribute with my talent? do I have talent? what is my voice? what is my style? but most of all how to take the step? There are so many millions of people doing the same thing, usually younger, that it may seem impossible to stand out, especially when you start from scratch and the worst thing you can do is to compare yourself, I tell you.
